and solve an intriguing murder...
all in one weekend!!
The 21st Century... and the historic
18th century village of Petersburg is still a place with a history, where now
you can help solve one of its most puzzling murders...
Throughout 2007 the Commonwealth of Virginia is inviting
the nation to "come home" and be a part of the 400th anniversary of the founding
of Jamestown. Join us as part of your visit, and make this a truly special
vacation in 2007!
On Friday night, after feasting at one of
the local area's fine restaurants (Note: We try to have all of our
participants arrive in town early enough on Friday night to eat dinner
together. But, because of travel challenges for people traveling a long
distance, this meal is not included in the price of the mystery weekend),
you will join your fellow sleuths for a social hour before retiring for the
night. During the social hour you will meet, and become one of, the
characters in the unfolding drama. During the night a remarkable
discovery is made, and it's up to you to solve the mystery!
The next morning, after breakfast, you are
presented more clues and observe the interrogations of your fellow guests, as
well as learn the clues and evidence uncovered by a visiting detective.
You finally begin to really discover who's who, what are their pasts, and what
might be their motives?
Additional thoughts unfold as you spend
the day at a tour and lunch at Virginia's largest and most celebrated winery,
the Williamsburg Winery, or a
day at the races in Virginia's own Colonial Downs. There's disorientation, or
revelation, at every turn. You finally think you know "Who did it"...
but are you sure?
A sumptuous gourmet dinner caps off the
Saturday evening, where murder is forgotten, and celebration reigns!
Sunday morning brings a suspense-filled
final synopsis that ties all the pieces together, with the murderer (or
murderers) exposed.

for our famous Winery-themed Murder Mystery Weekends, and just $495 per couple
for our horseracing mysteries, Valentine's weekend, the special Scottish
Festival Weekend in September, and the CIAO (Colonial Italian American
Organization) Wine Festival in October.
Note: The Louis XV
bedroom and the Provence bedroom share a bath.

October 10-12
A unique murder mystery
weekend where we attend the
CIAO
(Colonial Italian American Organization) Wine Festival. Includes
wine-tasting from several Virginia wineries,
Alfa Romeo classic car exhibit, and a chance to visit the historic area of
Williamsburg! Also includes live Italian music on stage and wonderful
Italian food and beverages. Arts and crafts vendors and strolling
musicians. For this
special weekend, the price is $495 per couple.
